Are you ready? Because here we go!
Run down of my birthday weekend (that was last weekend) I know I’m slacking, shut your mouth.
Friday-
Well, Friday night I just hung out and didn’t really do anything out of the ordinary. It was the typical, spend the night at home with Jonathan
wasting our time being super productive with our time, working on our hand/eye coordination by playing 10 hours of Final Fantasy. Racked up a good amount of CP and we called it a night.
Saturday-
*My sister’s birthday
Woke up, called my sister to wish her a HAPPY BIRTHDAY and realized I wouldn’t be spending the day with her because she wanted to go sit at the beach, keep in mind that it was cold and rainy… whatever, I’m sure she got a sweet tan… After that I called Anna and we went and got a pedicure (God knows I needed one… he also knows that I need a million dollars but that’s another story) ANYWAYS, met up with her at the normal “spa” and that’s where things get a little crazy. Everything is going like usual until they start to put this bright green stuff on our legs… it’s cooling at first, felt kind of nice and then BAM it was like I just put my legs on the surface of the sun, or rather this small Vietnamese woman conveniently brought the sun to me. Finally at the point of excruciating pain, she takes it off and I was relieved… until she started rubbing rocks on my legs that were about 1000 degrees hotter than they should be… it was great… finally after the torture my legs had endured she paints my nails, I paid her then left rather quickly. Alrighty, so rocking on through the day. Anna and I go to Bombshell and I got my tattoos re-done. I had gotten two birds, one on each ankle about 5 years ago and I had to draw a diagram for anyone to know what they were so the wonderful Bryan helped me out. So totally please and going back for more work soon.
After that I went home and worked on my hand/eye coordination some more. 7 hours and 120k CP I called it a night.
Sunday-
My friend Anna, who I just talked about, has wanted a tattoo of a penguin for a really long time. Seeing the work Bryan did the previous day, she was ready to get it done. We went in and she decided to get it on her foot, one of the most painful places to get a tattoo… ever… I would have bawled like a baby, screamed and cussed at Bryan for making me pay him money for the agony he was causing but Anna on the other hand, well let’s just say she’s a super bad ass. She was just like, “Oh, that’s it” and I must say that it looks amazing!
After that I met up with Jonathan and we went to dinner at BJ’s to start our 2 year anniversary celebration off. BJ’s is where we re-met for the first time (really long story) and it’s where we had our first date, so we thought it would be fitting to go there. After stuffing our faces with delicious-ness we started to make the hour drive to the beach. (Where we had our first kiss, we’re cute, I know)
So, on the way there we’re talking about all the fun things we’ve done, how much we love each other and blah, blah, blah, then we start to notice about 45 mins into the drive (as we’re coming up to the beach) that there is like NO ONE around. We stopped at a gas station to try to get some fire wood and as we are leaving he looks at me in his super serious way and says, “Please check the back seat to make sure no one’s there” Okay, thanks creepy… and that set the mood for the rest of our trip to the beach. We get there and set up the blankets and all that crap, lay down and try to observe the stars… a car drove by and Jonathan almost had a heart attack. He kept telling me to, “Keep down” and “Lay low” while he looked out the window peeping tom style. At this point we were freaking out, like my 250lbs. 6’5” manly, man boyfriend was FREAKED OUT.
Needless to say we drove home and went to sleep….
Monday-
Jonathan and I both took off Monday because it was our anniversary (cute) so we slept in late, which meant I slept until 9 and he slept until 1. After I finally woke him up (it took me and our two dogs to do so) we went to the dog park and our 20lbs Beagle mix named Da Vinci decided that his new BFF was a 160lbs Pit Bull named Mikey. They actually got along really great. I was some what terrified that Mikey would “accidentally” rip Da Vinci’s face off but no face ripping occurred and everyone was happy.
Then we came home, gave the dogs a bath, took showers and got all dolled up for dinner. (I got dolled up, Jon went more 007 style) Jon made reservations at Cullens, which probably the most awesome place I’ve ever been to besides Disney World (nothing is more awesome than Disney World, period) It’s an upscale steak house in Clear Lake. If I wrote everything that I loved about this place I would be writing a book, it’s a completely green restaurant, meaning that the floors are made from recycled blue jeans and tire, the lights are all energy efficient, the cows that make such wonderful steaks are all grass fed, no hormones added. (Big plus in my book) I ordered the $50 Filet, cooked as little as legally possible (I know, the waiter thought it was weird too) I just prefer rare steak… Anyways, it was delicious. We ate a lot, laughed a lot and it was awesome, because we’re awesome.
Tuesday-
*My birthday
The day started out with me getting a flat tire on the way to work… changed it myself and I felt like a bad ass. Got to work and did the whole everyone signed a card for you type deal, some of my co-workers took me out to lunch. It was actually really nice. Went to a moving sushi buffet! (very excited about that) I’ve always wanted to go to one because I’ve seen them in the movies and well, I’m easily influenced. Then after work, rounded some people up and we went to BWW for my birthday dinner. I just have to say that I have probably, no definitely the most awesome friends anyone could have. They are all really entertaining too lol
I got some really neat things for my birthday. Steph got me some ROCKIN converse that I’ve worn everyday since then and Anna got me probably the most bad ass card ever. (It plays the theme song from Star Wars) I got a couple different things from various people but honestly, I was just happy that everyone was there. I never really get to go out because I work like a million hours a week *exaggeration* but still, I never have time to just go out and do stuff.
All in all, I’m sure I’ve missed a ton of stuff but I’ve been writing this thing for awhile now and I’m pretty sure my boss has caught on that this is not actually an email to a vendor discussing our price negotiation going on later this week BUT it was an awesome weekend and I feel very lucky to have these people in my life. They are ballers. Your friends aren’t. I win.
